El primer gol de cada temporada en la Premier League
Erling Haaland y Manchester City marcaron por primera vez el tanto inaugural.
Erling Haaland sigue haciendo historia en la Premier League. El noruego anotó el primer tanto de la temporada 2023/25, en el triunfo parcial 2-0 de Manchester City sobre Burnley.
El Androide también marcó el segundo tanto del juego y se convirtió en el primer jugador en señalar los dos primeros tantos de la competencia. Por otra parte, es el segundo jugador en marcar más de 2 goles en el primer partido de un equipo de una temporada de la Premier League en temporadas consecutivas (El año pasado lo hizo frente a West Ham). El anterior caso ocurrió con Didier Drogba del Chelsea en 2009-10 (dos contra West Ham) y 2010-11 (tres contra West Bromwich). Además, el City marcó por primera vez el tanto inaugural del torneo ingles en la era Premier.
